There are many opportunities and responsibility in the Lower School

Our program in the Lower School is based on active learning, learning by doing, learning by challenging, and stretching in ways that promote growth.

The Lower School strives to instill within each child a balance between individual development and commitment to community. Our invigorating and supportive environment stimulates and promotes ethical, social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth in every student. At DAV public School, great care is taken to provide a truly enriching environment that contributes to the holistic development of each student. The curriculum is activity based relying on research projects, practical knowledge and worksheets which make lessons interesting. These are child oriented classes with emphasis on environment and social awareness. A special emphasis is laid on oral skills.

For a student of this age, the most valuable skills and knowledge are not composed of isolated facts and repetitive drills, but come from the child’s ability to make meaning of the work by integrating it with prior knowledge and experience. Apart from all this, youngsters need a structured game programme as part of their school day. A sharp mind resides in a healthy body so, to keep the body fit besides regular Sports an exclusive junior wing sports day is conducted where in students participate in various sports activities and bag many medals and trophies. So, this school is a platform for total growth and development of young minds.

We welcome the pupils experiences and of all members of our community
